Age Suitability

Dumb or Genius, operated by Kounga Solutions, is a light-hearted party game where players share and vote on ideas. Because the app includes user-generated content, we work hard to keep it a safe, positive, and age-appropriate environment for everyone.

Recommended age

Dumb or Genius is designed for a general audience and is recommended for players aged 13 and over (or the minimum age required in your country). It is not directed to children under 13.

User-generated content

Players can create and submit their own content, including:

• Ideas - a short title and description that other players see and vote on.
• Comments and votes - reactions and feedback on ideas shared in the app.
• Profile details - a display name and basic account information.

Because this content is created by users, occasional exposure to unmoderated or mature themes is possible. We take active steps to reduce this and to give you control over what you see.

How we keep content safe

• Community guidelines: our Terms of Service prohibit hateful, harassing, sexual, violent, illegal, and otherwise harmful content.
• Moderation: we review reported content and remove anything that breaks our rules.
• In-app reporting: every idea, comment, and profile can be reported directly in the app so our team can review it quickly.
• Blocking: you can block other users at any time to control your own experience.
• Account action: we warn, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that repeatedly or seriously break our rules.

Prohibited content

The following are not allowed anywhere in Dumb or Genius:

• Sexually explicit or pornographic material.
• Content that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits minors (see our Child Safety Standards).
• Hate speech, harassment, bullying, or threats.
• Graphic violence or content that promotes self-harm.
• Illegal activity, or promotion of dangerous or illegal goods.

Guidance for parents and guardians

If a young person in your care uses Dumb or Genius, we encourage you to talk with them about safe, kind online behavior and how to report or block content that makes them uncomfortable. You can also use the parental controls and content settings available on iOS and Android devices to help manage their experience.

Reporting a concern

If you see content or behavior that worries you, please report it so we can act:

• In the app: use the Report option on any idea, comment, or profile.

For concerns involving the safety of a child, please also see our Child Safety Standards. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
